    4. Got traces letter and spelled out her name Odessa Dee! J Colored in the letters with pink to make the page coronate with the other one! As I have said before I like to do that.

Great Gifts

Have you ever not known what to get that special some one or just your sister or friend? Well I have the solution. It very meaningful and can be cheap depending on what you want to use. It’s a scrapbook of course! Its a wonderful gift, preserving special memories that will last a lifetime I have done several scrapbooks for gifts it means so much to them. It’s not that long of a process and you feel good for sharing your hard work. I have done one for my boy friend of him and I for our three-year anniversary of everything we did together. Also one to my friend Joy I knew her since we were like two so I had lots of memories and stories I could put into the scrapbook and gave to her when she went away for college. One day she will look back on the memories and just laugh. :) My most resent one I have not finished or even began. So right now I am just collecting items here and there from her baby shower and just funny pictures of her mom. This is for my niece Odessa she will be born some time this month and I am going to make one for her and give it to her when she is older or maybe her mom for her birthday I have not decided. So t o start out pick who are going make it for. Find all the funny, cute, or just random picture you have. Lay them out on the pages in chronological order, beginning with how you first meet them or just any way you like.  Then Wrap your gift and give it to them on their birthday or a going away gift or just whatever!

Introduction

Day one

Every week on Wednesday I will share a new project or idea I came up with. This will be something easy and fun to do for you new scrap bookers and me too. I hope you will enjoy them; it is a place where I share my love of scrapbooking and have some feedback as well from you guys on what you did or just anything you like to share as well. I think that it will help you guys be less stressful and not feel overwhelmed it very relaxing. Is really easy to start you just need one picture and some ideas and put it on paper. I had boxes and boxes of photos just doing nothing but collecting dust. I had also seen some really wonderful scrapbooking tools at my local craft store. They looked like so much fun, that I wanted them all. So, I knew that the time had come for me to try out scrapbooking. Celebrate:) It’s time for you to have some fun scrapping too! All you need is Albums, Paper, Scissors, Photo Safe Glues and Pens to start then you will get scrapbook fever and start collecting everything you see at stores. You can also use wrapping paper to it doesn’t have to be pricy anything around the house give it a look you can find stuff. Once you have your photos organized and have purchased some of the essential scrapbook supplies, you are ready to get your photos in your albums.

Obessed with scrapbooking

School dances are the perfect opportunity to scrapbook, in fact Dunlap’s homecoming happened last weekend so all you Dunlap peps scrapbook that special night or that perfect picture of you and your date. To start out find a color background to bring out everything on your dress, to make it pop! Or if you want to make your eyes pop with one of the close of pictures you have taken with your friends or date find a colored background that matches it and put it behind to make them really sparkle. When you get older you can look back on this moment and feel like it just happened yesterday. Here is what I ended up doing.
I gather up some letter to spell out Homecoming on the first page and cut out one 6’pink strip to ascent my picture and make it stand out. Add a saying on the bottom and put the year 09, that’s when mine way last year.
On the second page I have a picture of the group and the girls, might I say we look too adorable, cut a blue and green piece of paper the same width as the photo to also make the pictures stand out too. As you can see I like to have my pages match or have some sort of color theme to them. Get up and go find some of those old pictures or new one of the dance or special someone and scrapbook your little heart out!
